Neamat Badawi gives his oil-based canvasses added depth and mysticism techniques using eclectic materials such as gold leaf, metal plates and wood.

The acclaimed Syrian artist, who will be present at this year’s Venice Biennale, has exhibited extensively throughout Syria as well as Lebanon, Armenia and France.

Neamat Badawi is also a teacher and an establisher of the Roland Khoury Art Institute in Aleppo since 1990 and his art works have been obtained in a private collection by the Syrian Ministry of Culture.
