Tashkeel has teamed up with Fn Designs, Surf Dubai, and Bradley Kirr to produce a full month of skate, surf, and art activities to get you on your boards and inspire the inner Picasso. 

January 19^th kicks off the month with “Fakie”, a skateboard art exhibition featuring 30 of the UAE’s best artists and ramp opening party at Tashkeel.org. The “ramp” is the most unique skate-able art sculpture made entirely from Arabic calligraphy and artfully adorned by the artist Amartey Golding from Showcase Gallery. 

American and European pros will be in attendance at the event with Skate Biladi (skate my country) creator Omar Al-Abbar. 

Every skater will be provided with a blank deck and art supplies to create their own masterpiece, after which all skaters are invited to ride the ramp and will be duly rewarded with skateboard parts for every impressive trick landed until he accumulates a complete board. 

Full complimentary BBQ and drinks will be provided as well as live music.
